Faith Fitness Temple Maintenance Strength Training

Today’s workout wasn’t just about movement… it was about ministry.
Every rep, every step, every lift of the dumbbells—this was Temple Maintenance. This 35-minute Walk & Tone Strength Training session was created to help you care for your body, soul, and spirit while enjoying the powerful presence of God along the way.

One of the things I love most about faith and fitness is this:
God meets us right where we are.
You don’t need to be a certain age, fitness level, or have a perfect past. You don’t need to move like you did 20 years ago. You simply show up, breathe, and offer your effort to the Lord. That’s worship.

In this workout, we walked, marched, lifted dumbbells for upper and lower body, worked the standing abs, and ended with a peaceful cool down stretch. Between sets, I encouraged you with Scripture, with praise, with joy, and with simple reminders that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit.

Here’s what Temple Maintenance looks like in real life:

  • When you lift weights, you’re not just building muscle—you’re building discipline.

  • When you march in place, you’re moving forward spiritually and physically.

  • When you breathe deeply in the cool down, you’re making space for God’s peace.

  • When you choose to keep going, even when it burns, you’re strengthening not only your body but your resolve.

And you know what? God sees every bit of it.

Whether this was your first workout with me or your hundredth, I’m proud of you. Truly. Your consistency, your dedication, and your willingness to honor God with your body is beautiful. That is worship.

My prayer is that these Faith & Fitness workouts continue to bless you, lift you, and keep you moving with joy and purpose. Keep showing up. Keep taking care of your temple. And keep praising God for the breath, strength, and energy He gives you daily.

Now go ahead—treat yourself to some water, take a deep breath, and celebrate what God helped you accomplish today.
You did this.
You honored Him.
And the best part? He is delighted with your effort.
